Crossing Academy is a Christian school for 3’s, 4’s & and Kindergarten. We offer full-day programs for all ages with variable options to best help the needs of our families. Before and after care is available for families who need it. Our mission is to help students think biblically and thrive academically. Thinking biblically means we facilitate an environment where our children know that they are loved, cherished, and have a special created purpose that God has given them. To thrive academically means we want to raise up life-long learners who enjoy the process of growing in their knowledge and skills.

A message from the director of Crossing Academy
Welcome to Crossing Academy! We are so excited to welcome you and your family as you begin your child’s educational journey. Crossing Academy is a faith-based, Christ-centered preschool and kindergarten. Our dedicated teachers with the partnership of families will help our students grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically. Curriculum
• We follow Pennsylvania State Educational Guidelines First grade readiness following Council Rock Standards.

Our Team
Jennifer Blaine
Director
Jennifer is a lifelong resident of Bucks County. Jennifer graduated from Temple University with a B.S. in Communication Science, then went on to LaSalle University where she received an M.A. in Education. Jennifer is a certified Elementary and Special Education teacher. She has worked for the Princeton Regional School District as well as the Bucks County Intermediate Unit. After having her children, Jennifer began her career as an early childhood educator. She started her own preschool and kindergarten enrichment program that served the community for the past few years. When not at school, Jennifer is busy with her three children, Laurel, Christopher, and Jack. Jennifer and her husband Chris love traveling and spending time with their family and four dogs!
As an educator, Jennifer understands the importance that early childhood education has for future success in school and in life. She is excited about the faith-based, individualized preschool program at The Crossing Academy. Jennifer is looking forward to sharing her faith and love of Jesus with the students at The Crossing Academy. Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Dawn Smith
Specials Teacher / Assistant Director
Dawn is a loving mom of four boys, Riley, Colin, Liam, and Nolan. She attended Bucks County Community College majoring in PreK – Early elementary education. Prior to having her children, she was a preschool teacher and assistant director. Since then, she has cared for many children of varying ages in her home, while also substitute teaching in her children’s schools. Dawn looks forward to continuing to nurture, teach, and help children realize how special they are.
In her spare time Dawn, and her husband Michael of over 25 years, enjoy camping with their family and traveling to North Carolina. They share their faith with their boys. Dawn’s most beloved Bible verse is 3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than this: to hear that my children are living according to the truth.
Jenny Malizia
Teacher Assistant
Jenny is a mother of three amazing boys, Vincent, Cameron, and Trevor. She and her husband Rich have been Bucks County residents for over 20 years. Jenny has spent her life dedicated to teaching early childhood education. At an early age, she worked for her mother’s daycare and then continued in local preschools. Jenny and Jennifer Blaine have worked closely together for the past few years helping enrich the lives of many preschool and kindergarten children. Jenny loves spending time with her family and vacationing in the Poconos. Jenny’s kind heart and nurturing spirit have helped soothe many children as they transition into preschool. She is so excited to share her love of the Lord with the children of our community. Jenny’s favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
